Nature Preserve

Dos Lagos was designed to balance nature and community. A leisurely stroll through the Dos Lagos greenbelt and along the banks of the Temescal Creek offers a close-up view of the benefits of stewardship, integrative restoration and habitat planning. From the natural bioswales and riparian habitat established along the Dos Lagos Golf Course, to the restored creek and 135 acres of established natural open space, the project incorporates a dynamic and vibrant ecosystem within an integrated, sustainable mixed-use community. Take a moment to look around and you might see a Great White Heron, Bald Eagle, red-shouldered hawk or kangaroo rat – reflections of a development that takes nature to heart.
